Water — 2/3rd of Your Body
Basically...We are not much different from plants
We need sunshine, air and water and nutrients from food to survive and grow. If you restrict one of those “ingredients of life” from your plant, you will see the effect fairly immediately!
While you will agree that air is the most important factor for human survival (a few minutes without it and you will die!) – there’s not too much we can do in modern life about the pollution of the air around us. You can move to the country side… maybe use an air purifier… or wear a gas mask.More about air, or rather the effect of oxygen here
However, many of us are not aware what crucial role water actually plays in our life!
The human body consists to 2/3 of water – you might have heard that before, but do you really understand what that means?
Water – Stay hydrated!
66 % of the human body is water. Each day 2.5 liters of water is lost through normal bodily functions – and most of us fail to replace this water: 75% of US-Americans are chronically dehydrated !(and that applies to most other “civilized” countries, too)By the time you feel thirsty, the damage has already occurred.
And most of us have actually lost that natural ability to interpret thirst and mistake it for hunger.
Surprising facts
Water & Metabolism
Even MILD dehydration will slow down the body’s metabolism as much as 3%.
Water & Energy Level
Lack of water is the number one trigger of daytime fatigue.
Research has shown that a 5% drop in body fluids will cause a 25-30% loss of energy in most people, a 15% drop causes death.
Water & Colon Health
Drinking the equivalent of 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%.
Water & Breast Health
Drinking the equivalent of 5 glasses of water a day decreases the risk of breast cancer by 79%.
Water & Weight Loss
Optimizing water intake allows the body to drop 4 or 5 pounds the first week because it improves bodily functions allowing the body to burn stored fat.
One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100%of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study. Water & Skin
Lack of water and aging makes our skin become drier. Proper hydration is vital to keeping skin looking smooth, healthy and young.
Water & the Brain
85% of brain tissue is water and dehydration causes energy generation in the brain to decrease.
Dehydration has been linked to depression and chronic fatigue syndrome, short term memory loss or decreased ability to focus.
Water & Joints
Dehydrated cartilage increases friction forces to the joints, resulting in joint deterioration and pain.
Water & Back Pain
The water stored in your spinal disc core supports approximately 75% of the upper body’s weight and is dependant on the hydraulic effects of water stored there.
Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
Water & Pregnancy
Morning sickness can be caused by or become more intense when dehydrated. It’s a signal being sent by the fetus to the mother’s body that it needs more water. Water & Blood
Lack of water thickens blood making it difficult for the heart to pump and also shuts down capillaries making it difficult for nutrients to get to vital organs.
Water & Asthma
Histamine levels increase with dehydration.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day!
Easy to apply:
- Drink a glass of water NOW! ….as you read this.
- Start your day with 2 glasses warm water in the morning, upon rising – it’s like a shower from inside! (squeezing some fresh lemon juice into the water kick-starts your metabolism even more)
- Keep drinking a glass every hour throughout the day…
- Use any means of beeping devices or alarm clocks as a reminder, e.g. if you can set your watch for hourly alarms, do so and drink every time it beeps (it certainly works for me!
- efinitely all the heart rate monitors or training watches can do this) - same with PDA /
- BlackBerry users or people who spend most of their day in front of the computer – simply enter an “event” every hour and set the settings on visual or audio alarm!
Not all water is the same
The more you know about how important water is to your health, the more you will come to understand why not only the quantity, but even more so the quality of water is the most important decision you can make for your health today.
In most parts of the world, tap water is “safe” to drink (certainly not in all, and water can be the most dangerous hazard when traveling to places where it is contaminated, even if only used to wash your salad or as ice cubes in drinks!) – but even if it is “safe”: that doesn’t mean it’s a good choice to drink tap water.
Bottled water seems to be the better choice to many people, obviously that is also dependent on the brand you buy (and there is certainly no lack of brands to choose from or marketing messages to listen to out there).
In fact, water is a living substance… If you have ever collected fresh spring water and brought it home in any kind of canister or plastic bottle, you may have observed that it actually spoils when being left on its own for only a few days. Water is light sensitive and even if carried in a dark container, will eventually spoil within approximately a week! To increase its shelf life, it’s needs special treatment. And – different brands contain different amount of minerals… so read their label!
So – as surprising as it may sound to you, bottled water is a good choice while living or traveling to countries with questionable tap water cleanliness… but if that is a given, than bottled water actually loses out to the flowing tap water, that is still somehow fresher and therefore the better choice. But: inquire at your local water supplier or send in a specimen of your tap water to check the lead levels… there are still (too) many lead pipes in use and in over 30% of London’s taps the lead level is actually higher than the suggested levels by the government – and guess what: this reflects in higher than acceptable lead levels in consumers’ blood!
I hope you keep reading: tap water is a good choice after all as it is “flowing water” and is under frequent supervision (at least in Western countries) – but to make it really the best choice for you, you will have to use a water filter! You can use a water filter with 2 stages consisting of a permeable membrane filter and a carbon filter, which should remove 99% of particles, but most importantly also removes the majority of chlorine and fluorine. (for suitable water filters, visit “Links & resources”-> include link)
To make your water truly your fountain of youth and health, use a water energizer!
The healing properties of water
Some believe water may be the most powerful healing substance ever known to man. I agree! You all have read or heard about these stories, and one of the most incredible yet true one tells about the extraordinary water properties in Russia, where victims of the nuclear radiation after Tschernobyl showed less severe reactions and health impairments than all the others being affected – some even didn’t show any sign at all of having been exposed to the nuclear radiation or recovered quickly from any signs or symptoms… these were all living in an area that is know for its good water, however, the link wasn’t made until one doctor finally came to understand, that it was indeed this water with its special molecular structure, that made this “miracle” happen, and from then on used it deliberately to cure his patients.
The benefits of this water are proven – and the technique to transform ordinary (filtered) water into this special water that resembles the natural geomagnetic field found at healing springs is available to everybody! It works without any foreign or chemical substance being added to the water – and rumors have it, that even NASA wants to use this patent!

To order the iWater System, you may do so online at the above link, if you live in one of these 5 countries: USA, CANADA, AUSTALIA, NEW ZEALAND or SOUTH AFRICA.
Otherwise, please contact me for further information.
